the future is not what you'd describe as "perfect". If you haven't guessed, global warming caught up to the world. Human beings needed to adapt, and fast, so they created the cities, each one adapted to the ever changing environment. And though the human race was surviving, it wasn't exactly living the right way. The Canis, the government established to all of the cities, enforced the law so tightly, many people were afraid to go outside in the day or the night in fear that they would meet the Canis's special police force: the mechs. The mechs were heartless machines, puppets of the Canis, and reanimated copies of what was truly dead. Oh! Sorry bout that, I never introduced myself, I'm Olivia, but most of the humans I know call me 99 or 57/2, the others call me "it" and "bloody carcass" and I'm exactly 99% wolf! impressive huh? Well it is, because most dogs in my corner of this cell block aren't even 25% wolf, so I'm considered a pretty rare specimen. I'm not even 2 years old and I'm better than every other dog on campus! I don't even have special parts grafted into my body! but... I've gotten tired of being told that I only exist to carry out the commands of the Government. And in 2 more years, they're going to start breeding me with another high percent, so that they can get even better results with my own flesh and blood. I won't even get to keep the pups! as soon as they're out of my stomach, they'll leave me for good, just like they did with me and my mother. And then I'll keep breeding and breeding until I eventually die, and then they'll take my dead body and graft it so much that I won't even be me anymore, I'll be a mech. So, pretty gruesome fate, eh? Ha Ha, No, that's not going to happen, because I'm going to get out of this Hellhole alive or I don't get out at all, I am not going to casually breed for the best results, I am not going to be useless for the rest of my natural born life, and I am most certainly not going to be a mech at the end of that span. I'm going beyond the gates to the world outside. I'm the first Rebel this town has seen in so long. It's a long shot, but as long as I have the hope of a chance, I'm going to go at it with all my power.
